How to Create Your Own Engagement Ring

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to build your dream ring in just a few simple steps.
Step 1: Visit the Ring Builder
To get started, head over to our website navigation click on “Build Your Ring.” Our Ring Builder tool is your all-in-one design assistant, helping you visualize and customize every element of your ring — from setting and metal type to stone shape and budget.
Step 2: Choose Your Setting
The setting is the foundation of your ring, and it sets the tone for the entire design. Do you love timeless elegance? Modern minimalism? Vintage glam?
For example, in our demo video, we selected a halo setting — classic and eye-catching — and paired it with 14k yellow gold. You can also explore other options like solitaire, pavé, three-stone, or hidden halo styles.
Once you’ve chosen the look you love, you’ll select your preferred metal (14k or 18k yellow, white, or rose gold, or platinum), stone shape, and price range.
Step 3: Select Your Diamond
Here comes the sparkle! Once you’ve chosen your setting, the Ring Builder will guide you to selecting your perfect diamond.
You’ll start by choosing between natural or lab-grown diamonds. (In our example, we chose a lab-grown oval diamond — a shape that’s both flattering and timeless.)
Next, use the filters to refine your search based on the Four C’s:

Carat Weight – Choose your preferred size (e.g. 3.4–3.6 carats)

Color – D and E offer the most colorless appearance

Clarity – We recommend VS1 to VS2 for a flawless look to the naked eye

Cut – Leave this on default for top results, or select based on personal preference
Our real-time rendering tool will show you a preview of each diamond in your setting so you can make the most informed and confident choice.
Step 4: Preview Your Ring
Once your diamond is selected, it’s time to preview your final design. Our Ring Builder tool will generate a 3D render of your completed ring, so you can see exactly how it will look from every angle before you make it yours.
This is the moment where everything comes together — and trust us, it’s magic.
Step 5: Checkout & Production
Love what you see? Simply add your ring to cart, enter your shipping and payment details, and that’s it! Your custom ring will be handcrafted and delivered to your door in 3–4 weeks (sometimes sooner).
